How to Get a Discord Channel ID

To integrate your application with Discord or use tools like ForwardMSG, you’ll often need a Channel ID. Here’s how to easily find it:

⚙️ Step 1: Enable Developer Mode

1. Open Discord.
2. Click the gear icon at the bottom-left to open User Settings.
3. Scroll down and go to the "Advanced" section in the left-hand menu.
4. Toggle on "Developer Mode".

Developer Mode allows you to copy unique identifiers for servers, users, messages, and channels.

🆔 Step 2: Copy the Channel ID

1. Go back to any server and find the text channel you want the ID from.
2. Right-click on the channel name.
3. Select the option "Copy Channel ID".

✅ You now have the Channel ID copied to your clipboard and ready to use.
