Get your API ID and API Hash

Use your own Telegram account API credentials, not a BotFather token.

Open my.telegram.org and enter your phone number with its country code.
Enter the confirmation code Telegram sends you.
Open API development tools.
Create an application if you do not already have one. Enter an App title and Short name, choose a platform such as Desktop, and complete the requested fields.
Copy the numeric App api_id and 32-character App api_hash into this generator. Keep the API Hash private.

How to sign in and use the result

For QR login, open Telegram → Settings → Devices → Link Desktop Device on your phone. For phone login, enter your international number and the code Telegram sends. If you have two-step verification, enter its password when asked.

Choose the library used by your bot, script or project. Copy the session string into that library’s session constructor, or choose JSON / .env and match the variable names to your application. Your phone number, login code and password are never included in the output. Keep this page open while signing in; refresh starts over.

For Telethon v1, use StringSession("YOUR_SESSION"). For GramJS, use its StringSession; for Pyrogram, use session_string; for mtcute, use importSession. A string from another format will not work merely because it is called a string session.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a Telegram String Session for ForwardMsg?

No. ForwardMsg connects your Telegram account directly. This tool is for other projects that explicitly require a session string.

Which session formats can I generate?

Telethon v1 (the default), GramJS, Pyrogram and native mtcute. Choose the library your project uses; there is no universal session format.

Does ForwardMsg receive my login details or session?

The generator connects directly from this browser to Telegram. Secrets stay in memory, with no browser persistence, analytics or support widgets on this page. The site serves only the page and bundled assets; it has no login or session collection endpoint.

Why did I not receive an SMS code?

Telegram chooses delivery. Check the Telegram app on a device where you are already signed in. SMS is not guaranteed; cancel and try QR login if phone login is unavailable.

What if my code expires or Telegram asks me to wait?

Cancel and request a new login code if it expires. If Telegram asks you to wait, stop retrying and try later. QR codes renew automatically while the page stays open.

Does clearing this tool log out my generated session?

No. Clearing hides and removes local secrets and closes the connection without revoking authorization. To revoke it, open Telegram → Settings → Devices and terminate the session created here. Your clipboard and saved copies are not cleared.

What if the generator is blank or unavailable?

Use HTTPS, enable JavaScript and allow a connection to Telegram. Networks or browser extensions can block it. Open the generator directly; credential entry is blocked inside frames.

Can I change formats without logging in again?

Yes. Format and output style changes use the same authorized session held in this page’s memory. Pyrogram requires a verified account user ID and API ID; the tool refuses incomplete metadata.
